Garnet beads
Maybe you have ever eaten one: a pomegranate. Then you know that there are all small, red compartments on the inside. These particles resemble pieces of garnet beads and thus the name is explained. It comes naturally from Latin, granatus and refers to the seeds from the aforementioned fruit, the malum granatum. Garnet beads can be transparent to opaque.
Garnet beads are not only found in red, contrary to what the name suggests. Garnet is also found in purple, orange, yellow, green, brown, black or even colorless. In 1998, a blue-pink grenade was found for the first time in Madagascar. This variant is of course very rare and is therefore not in our range.
The Grenade is one of the Nine Gemstones in the Thai Order of the Nine Gemstones. This order was established in 1851 by King Mongkut Rama IV of Siam (later Thailand). It is the oldest and highest of Thai awards. It is also called the Holy Order or Warap Aun. The order is granted to members of the Royal Family of Chakri and to very prominent Thai directors. You have to be a Buddhist to be included in this order.

Grossulaar
Grossulaar belongs to the Grenade group which is subdivided into the Pyralspiet and Ugrandiet group. Grossulaar belongs to the latter. To go into that further is actually primal since that is all physics and chemistry. It is nice to know where the name comes from. Grossulaar is derived from the botanical name of gooseberry, grossularia, referring to the green garnet found in Siberia. Cinnamon-brown, red and yellow variants also occur. The yellow crystals resemble Zircon alone, the hardness is much lower. This variant of Grossulaar is also called hessonite, from Greek, which means inferior.
The operation of Grossulaar
Grossulaar can help with conflicts and legal problems. It helps to relax and let things take its course. This also promotes cooperation. On the body Grossulaar has a positive influence on fertility, kidneys, mucous membranes, rheumatism, psoriasis and the absorption of vitamin A.
